Stacking the Shelves #11

Welcome to Stacking the Shelves. Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga at Tynga's Reviews. This is where we showcase books we have received or bought during the week.

This week has been so short for me! I spent the entire spring break doing nothing, fretting that I was wasting my glorious time off.  I was able to find some fantastic books, and I have some physical books to share for this week.

Note: I took this very late at night, and the quality shows.  Chalk that one up to a long and slightly stressful day. However, I pictured my St. Paddy's Day cupcakes to make up for the cruddy quality!  (Hooray Book and Cupcake Day!)

Books
(Top to Bottom)

Dragonfly by Julia Golding: Looked really interesting!
Angelfall by Susan Ee: I already read this one (and loved it), but I couldn't pass it up when I spotted it at a used book sale this weekend.
Song of the Lioness by Tamora Pierce: I found it all as one collection!!
The Floating Islands by Rachel Neumeier - Recommended by Jessie at Ageless Pages Reviews!
Just One Day by Gayle Forman - I FINALLY OWN IT!
Star Trek Omnibus: The Original Series (Comic Collection) - Found it discounted due to a damaged cover.  IDW produced some wonderful Star Trek comics!
Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor - I have it for Kindle, but the cover...when I saw it at the used bookstore, I had to own it.

What did you add to your own bookcase this week? Leave a link!

  2. I still need to get a physical copy of Angelfall. I loved that book, too! It feels like I have been waiting forever for the sequel to come out, though! Just One Day was a brilliant read for me too. I hope you enjoy it. :)

  3. Yay for Just One Day! I have that on my schedule to read in a few weeks ... I can't wait! And I love it when I find a book that I've read and loved at a used bookstore. I usually buy a copy for my shelf, too. :)

    Enjoy your books!

  5. I totally need a physical copy of Angelfall too. I have a feeling that by the time the second book gets released I'm going to need to do a re-read (whenever that's going to happen...I'm starting to lose hope.)

  7. Angelfall and Just One Day! Yay! I absolutely loved both of those books. I really need to read Days of Blood and Starlight but I was the black sheep with Smoke and Bone and wasn't a huge fan. I hope I like the second one better.

  8. I really liked Dragonfly! I think it will appeal to Tamora Pierce fans. It's a sweet fantasy/romance.

Angelfall is in my haul too.

Oh hey, Tamora Pierce. I like how all four books together are still a short book.

I've got The Floating Islands but haven't read it yet. Looking forward to it.

    JUST ONE DAY!!!!!
